We love our lessons with Ms. Karen! Our son has been in her studio for almost a year and we have been so pleased. My husband and I are both music teachers so we know quite a bit about different methods and we are very happy that we chose to learn through the Suzuki Method. This method is fascinating to me (thank goodness for Parent Training!) and has taught us how to nurture his piano experience rather than to force it. We love that the learning is age-appropriate and individually paced. We feel good about helping our son to find a way to “feed his soul” with music in a very natural, healthy way. The Suzuki Method is very different from the traditional ways of teaching piano lessons, but if you just trust in it, it really does work! In fact, our two year old daughters are learning so much just from all the experiences in the house. Just the other day I caught them making their baby dolls bow and play the piano. It was so cute! They want to be just like their big brother and, when they start their own lessons, they will already have so much knowledge.
